OxClean

Since 2008 the parish council has organised an annual litterpick in Old Marston. This is part of a citywide event organised by the Oxford Civic Society (https://www.oxclean.org.uk/) which started in 2008 and regularly has about 2000 volunteers across the city. This year (2026) we are joining forces with the Marston Wombles litterpicking team who will be covering New Marston. Sacks and litterpickers will be provided - just come wearing suitable clothes and footwear. Oxford Direct Services will collect the full sacks of rubbish at the designated places.

There will be two events this year. On Saturday 7th March 2026 we will be meeting outside Mortimer hall at 10:00. No need to book - just turn up - we look forward to seeing you.
